CAFFE` LATTE`
TOP 1500 CHOICE TRACKS {EXPANDED EDITION}

#1231 I DREAMED A DREAM Anne Hathaway
In her Academy Award-winning role as Fantine in the 2012 film adaptation of the Claude-Michel Schonberg and Alain Boublil stage musical "Les Miserables", Anne Hathaway's rendition of the showstopper "I Dreamed A Dream" was breathtaking. The song's English lyrics were contributed by Herbert Kretzmer.

#1232 AIN'T TOO PROUD TO BEG The Temptations
David Ruffin's lead vocals out front on this Motown gem from The Temptations. Written by Eddie Holland Jr and Norman Whitfield. Produced by the latter, the single was issued in 1966.

#1233 YOU KNOW I'M NO GOOD Amy Winehouse
Amy Winehouse shows why she possessed 1 of the best blue-eyed soul voices with this song she wrote from 'Back To Black'. Mark Ronson produced this 2007 track.

#1234 I DON'T KNOW WHY I LOVE YOU Stevie Wonder
Stevie Wonder co-produced this single with Don Hunter. The song was co-written by them and Lula Hardaway (Wonder's mother) and Paul Riser. Issued on Motown in 1968.

#1235 RIGHT BACK TO WHERE WE STARTED FROM Maxine Nightingale
A 1976 disco classic written by Pierre Tubbs (who also produced it) and Vincent Edwards for the British singer Maxine Nightingale.

The list is a ranking made up of the songs I enjoy the most, ranked in order of preference: the higher we go, the more I cherish them. Some were released as singles, others as album tracks. Some are obscure; others were worldwide hits or have universal appeal. They aren't always the most famous or popular, but simply a personal choice.This expanded section now includes songs from the last few years. I hope you find some new tracks to love, or re-discover some past favourites.
5 new songs are added every day from #1201-1500 as well as continuing the ascent through 1 of the remaining songs to #1 daily.
