#1301 QUE SERA MI VIDA Gibson Brothers
The 3 brothers from the West Indies that comprised the French disco / funk group Gibson Brothers scored a hit with "Que Sera Mi Vida" in 1980 that peaked at #5 in the UK. The dance track was written by Nelly Byl, Jean Kluger and Daniel Vangarde.

#1302 US FORCES Midnight Oil
Few Australian groups tackled issues as divisive as Midnight Oil did. The fact that their songs attracted immense popularity as well as acclaim proves their talent. "US Forces" deals with the American - Australian alliance and was written by lead singer Peter Garrett and guitarist Jim Moginie. The single, from their '10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1' album,  reached the Australian Top 20 in 1982.

"Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad" is the big ballad on Meat Loaf's classic 1977 album 'Bat Out Of Hell'. The track was written and produced by Jim Steinman.

When the Tom Cruise film version of 'Mission Impossible' hit cinemas in 1996, U2 members Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr made the charts with their revamp of the classic TV series' theme music.

#1305 MY HEART GOES BOOM! Charmed
Norway's entry in the 2000 Eurovision Song Contest was a cheesy and upbeat song performed by the female trio Charmed and written by Tore Madsen and Morten Henriksen. It finished 11th place out of that year's 24 finalists.

The list is a ranking made up of the songs I enjoy the most, ranked in order of preference: the higher we go, the more I cherish them. Some were released as singles, others as album tracks. Some are obscure; others were worldwide hits or have universal appeal.
