HEARTBREAKER Dionne Warwick

A chance meeting at a wedding between Barry Gibb and Clive Davis led to Dionne Warwick recording “Heartbreaker”. Although initially she was not keen on the song, she recorded it. The Bee Gees wrote the hit and contributed background vocals on the cut. It was the title track of her 1982 album. Barry helped create all but one of its tracks. The single peaked at #2 in Britain and Australia. It climbed to #10 in America. “Heartbreaker” remains one of Warwick’s most successful singles.
