SANDE`
Emeli Sandé is a member of the new tide of British artists that includes Sam Smith, Adele, One Direction and Ed Sheeran. She was born in 1987. While developing her musical talent, Sandé studied medicine. After signing with EMI, she appeared on releases by Chipmunk, Tinie Tempah, Naughty Boy and Professor Green.
In 2012, her debut album emerged. 'Our Version Of Events' reached #1 in the UK and charted in many other countries. It contained the Top 5 singles "Heaven", "Next To Me" and "Clown". At the Summer Olympics that year, Sandé performed during London's opening and closing ceremonies. She took home some Brit Awards for her music.
Along with her solo recordings, Sandé has had her songs performed by an array of acts such as Rihanna, Leona Lewis and Susan Boyle.
2013 saw her release a live album. This disc topped the British album chart. Her sophomore studio release, 'Long Live The Angels', was unleashed in 2016. It peaked at #2 in the UK and featured the singles "Hurts" and "Breathing Underwater".
