ABBATHE 40 MOST IMPORTANT SONGS

29 DOES YOUR MOTHER KNOW

Writers: Benny Andersson / Bjorn Ulvaeus

"Does Your Mother Know" marked the final A-side to feature Bjorn on lead vocals. Sessions for the upbeat song started early February 1979. It's easily Bjorn's best song from the ABBA catalogue and arguably the group's wittiest. The disco beat ensured its timely appeal. The song was included on 'Voulez Vous' and became a major hit.
