ABBATHE 40 MOST IMPORTANT SONGS


31 SUPER TROUPER Writers: Benny Andersson / Bjorn Ulvaeus

A last minute addition for the album which shares its name, "Super Trouper" was created in early October 1980. It was inspired by stadium spotlights. Bjorn decided to write the pop hit from the point of view of a performer on the road and yearning for her loved one. Frida's vocal here made the song irresistible. It was a global hit and ABBA's final #1 in Britain.
