Trivia:
An earlier incarnation of The Bay City Rollers released "Saturday Night" in Britain in 1973. The disc flopped. Two years later, the Scottish group re-recorded the song and it became BCR's only US #1 single. Its chant "S.A.T.U.R.D.A.Y." inspired The Ramones when the punk band created "Blitzkrieg Bop".
