Whether thundering through “Whole Lotta Love”, guiding us towards the “Stairway To Heaven” or seducing us on “All My Love”, Robert Plant is a quintessential front man. As well as his Led Zeppelin recordings, he sang lead for offshoot project The Honeydrippers (“Sea Of Love”), collaborations (eg. ‘Raising Sand’ with Alison Krauss) and solo recordings (such as “Big Log”).
