#1002 LOOKIN' THROUGH THE WINDOWS Jackson 5
For proof of how the world marveled at Michael Jackson's vocal talent, look no further than his lead on "Lookin' Through the Windows". With his brothers' skilful harmonizing behind him, young Michael begins softly, articulating the words of writer Clifton Davis. As the song builds, Michael changes pace and adds more power and octaves. Davis had previously penned "Never Can say Goodbye", a previous major hit for the brothers.
Producer Hal Davis ably produced the title track from the Jacksons' 1972 album on Motown. He was a Motown staffer that had produced other cuts for the Jackson 5 & solo Michael Jackson, such as "Doctor My Eyes", "Got To Be There", "I Wanna Be Where You Are" and "Dancing Machine".
