In 1981, Elton John released his 'The Fox' album. For a change, only 4 of its 9 tracks were penned with his usual collaborator, Bernie Taupin. "Just Like Belgium" was one of these songs and it was released as a single after "Nobody Wins", also from that LP. The woman speaking in French on Elton's tribute to Brussels was Colette Bertrand, a TV actress who had previously appeared on series such as: "Wonder Woman", "Charlie's Angels" and "Starsky & Hutch".
