The Pet Shop Boys challenge religion on their 1987 hit song "It's A Sin". Both members of the duo wrote the song which was the lead single for their album 'Actually'. It was produced by Julian Mendelsohn with additional mixing and production from Stephen Hague. There is a softly spoken intro that is often missed but the references to the mass are overt, blended cleverly with the incessant beat of the song.
