Although renowned for her disco hits, Donna Summer never restricted herself to recording only dance songs. Even when the genre was at its zenith, Summer always included other styles on her albums. 'Bad Girls' contains some visionary disco highlights, including the title track, "Walk Away" and "Hot Stuff". Nestled amongst the dancefloor tracks are some ballads. "There Will Always Be A You" was a love song penned by Summer herself. The LP was recorded in January 1976 and unleashed to an eager public 4 months later. It was a massive seller for Summer.
