Hailing from Newcastle, England, the duo Lighthouse Family formed in 1993.It consisted of programmer / keyboardist Paul Tucker and lead singer Tunde Balyewu. In 1995, debut album 'Ocean Drive' was issued. Lead single "Lifted" took months to develop a groundswell. Once it did, the disc peaked at #4 in Britain. Sophomore album 'Postcards From Heaven' featured hit single "High". It charted well across Europe, reached #4 in the UK and topped the Australian chart.
It has been many years since the duo's most recent (and 3rd) album 'Whatever Gets You Through The Day'.
