Australian pop artist Darren Hayes was born in 1972 and rose to fame as half of Savage Garden. With Daniel Jones, the duo enjoyed international chart success with singles such as "Truly Madly Deeply" (#1 in Australia, U.S.A. and Canada; #4 UK), "To The Moon And Back" and "I Knew I Loved You" (#1 in America & Canada).
In 2001, at the height of popularity, the duo split. Early in the following year, Hayes launched his solo career. 'Spin' was his 1st release as a soloist. It contained the beautiful debut single (as Darren Hayes) "Insatiable". The disc made the Top 10 in Australia, New Zealand, Scandinavia and Britain. His 5th solo album 'Secret Codes And Battleships' was issued in 2011.
